With a population of 182 million, Brazil represents half of theentire South American economy and is the world's 5th most populouscountry. It has one of the largest and most diversified economies in theworld. NH exports to Brazil have increased by 50% for each of the past twoyears. Implemented in January 2004, the US-Chile Free Trade Agreement hascreated a world of exporting opportunities in one of Latin America's mostbalanced and appealing markets. Since then, US exports have nearlydoubled.
The Argentine economy has grown by over 9% for the past two years. USexports to Argentina have dramatically increased from $2.4 billion to over$4 billion in just two years with the US being the second highest exporterto Argentina.
Its economic expansion has cut the jobless rate by almosthalf.
